OLASS
Greater Merseyside Connexions in partnership with Mercia Training have responsibility for delivering a flexible, individually focussed offender learning and skills provision within H M Prison Liverpool.
Typically the programme involves literacy and numeracy assessment, advice and guidance for progression into learning and overcoming barriers upon release. This programme is funded through the Learning and Skills Council.
In addition to the above Greater Merseyside Connexions works closely with H M Prison Altcourse in Fazakerley and Merseyside Probation Service in the provision of advice and guidance to inmates and offenders post release into the community.
