NVQ Assessment Centre
GMCP is an accredited learning centre approved by OCR, Edexcel
and Open College Network (OCN) to deliver and assess accredited programmes.
In addition GMCP is approved by The Institute of Leadership and management (ILM)
to deliver approved development programmes.
GMCP offers not just a qualification but also individual development programmes aimed at supporting all candidates
throughout their learning; thus enabling candidates to successfully achieve their award and develop in their job.
All level 4 programmes include specialist sessions delivered by tutors from one of the Universities
accredited to offer the Qualification in Career Guidance (QCG).
NVQs in Advice and Guidance and Learning, Development and Support Services for Children and Young People (LDSS)
are amongst the required qualifications for Connexions staff and are highly sought after by partner organisations.
GMCP offers: ·
- Assessment by occupationally qualified staff who possess A1/D32/33 assessor qualifications ·
- Bespoke and flexible development programmes that underpin competence based assessment ·
- Flexibility in delivery and size of cohorts
The range of past and current candidates from external organisations demonstrates the flexibility and adaptability of the delivery and assessment teams.

- Citizen’s Advice Bureaux
- Outreach Guidance projects
- Advice and Guidance projects within the criminal justice sector

The programmes currently offered are:
- NVQ Advice and Guidance at levels 2,3 and 4
- NVQ Learning, Development and Support Services for Young People (LDSS) levels 3 and 4
- OCN level 3 Delivering Careers Advice and Guidance
