Get Involved with Connexions
There are 3 ways in which you can get involved in Connexions, they are:
Through your local area forum
Most areas have a local area forum, these are organised by Youth Involvement Personal Advisers.
For further details about these forums please contact the Youth Involvement Personal Adviser for your area.
Become a Peer Researcher
Peer researchers are employed by Connexions to complete various tasks, these include Mystery Shopping Connexions Centres, taking part in Internal Audits, sitting on Personal Adviser Interview Panels, becoming an Xchange member and much more. All work done by peer researchers is paid at an hourly rate and they also get the chance to complete a ‘Working with Connexions’ accreditation.
Be an Xchange Member
The Xchange team are a group of young people who are interested in the Connexions service and would like to see it improved. Both local forum members and Peer Researchers sit on this team. The Xchange team meet regularly and so far have had residential's to Trafford Hall and Alton Towers. Of the 3 modes of Youth Involvement this is the most formal.
