 Activity Agreement Pilot

What is the Activity Agreement Pilot?

AAP Young Person outside College

It is an agreement between you and Connexions to take part in an agreed timetable of activities for up to 20 weeks.

Who is it for?

16-17 year olds who have been unemployed for at least 13 weeks (and some young people from 6 weeks).

What's in it for me?

If you stick to your part of the agreement you could get £30 a week.

Activities are chosen by you and your Personal Adviser to meet your needs.

Your timetable of activities could include: job search, work experience, qualifications and sport & leisure activities.

What if I don't want to do an activity?

The Activity Agreement is about helping you get into work, education or training.

As you help choose the activities, you should find them useful and enjoyable.

If you agree to take part then you have to turn up, if you don't, your money could be stopped.

I'm interested so what now?

You can get more information by contacting your local Connexions centre.

You will need to come and see a Connexions Personal Adviser to discuss the Activity Agreement and see if you are eligible.
