What is the Activity Agreement Pilot?

It’s a new way for you to get the help you might need to find a job, training or course that’s right for you. You will be given the chance to take part in a range of activities (from Sports to Job Sampling), try out new things, get new skills, build your confidence and develop a clearer idea of what you want to do with your future – with a plan about how this can happen.

Will I get paid?

You will have your travel costs paid and if you aren’t getting benefits there’s a good chance you will get £30 a week for taking part in the activities in your plan (activity agreement).

Who can join the Pilot?

If you are aged 16 or 17 years old, live in Greater Merseyside and have not been in education, training or employment for the past 20 weeks; you are invited to take part.

Greater Merseyside is one of eight areas across the UK running the pilot.

How do I join?

Contact Connexions and an Activity Agreement Personal Adviser (PA) at your local Connexions centre can tell you if you can join the pilot and also if you could get the £30 per week.

What will happen next?

You will get your own Activity Agreement Personal Adviser who will work with you.

There are then 3 Activity Agreement Stages.
