Employer Links Project - St Helens

Facts

Provides opportunities for 16-19year olds who are looking for employment opportunities.

  • We can support with intensive job searching, CV, letters, interview skills etc.
  • We will discuss job roles and contact local employers to maximise opportunities.
  • In addition we can access activities to keep you motivated and enhance your CV.
  • The project is flexible so it can be tailored to your needs.
  • If you are already in employment we can access free training opportunities which are locally recognised qualifications to support with progression and retention.
  • We can offer advice on childcare costs, working hours, National minimum wage and other employment issues.

 

Will I get paid?

If you live in certain postcode area within St.Helens you may be entitled to £30 per week for 5 weeks,

a Connexions PA can advise you about this, along with support with travel expenses, clothing and other costs.

In addition we can approach and offer employers funding to generate opportunities for you.

To access funding you need to live in the NRF postcode areas, your PA will explain more.
