New Centre for Norris Green
Connexions staff in Liverpool North celebrated the official launch of the new multi-agency base: Clubmoor Children's Centre on Utting Avenue East Norris Green. Children and young people joined in the celebrations with lots happening throughout the day including a balloon release across the city.
Connexions Team Manager Kerris Blanchard said
"We're so pleased to have a new centre where young people can come and see Connexions and other partners all under one roof. It's a lovely building and a real young person friendly environment. Already we're seeing a huge rise in numbers of young people dropping into the one-stop-shop to talk to a Personal Adviser".
Other services available at Clubmoor Children's Centre include adult education, health and other family support services.
