A Juicy Career Ahead
Michael age 17 from Wirral spent two weeks at the Juice FM studio, working alongside the radio DJs and the busy news team gaining valuable work experience.
Michael has built a good reputation in radio and has his own hospital radio show on a Sunday night at Arrowe Park. He hopes to break into mainstream radio work in the future, and particularly wants to report on sporting events.
"People always think of voluntary work as being dull, but I've been doing hospital radio for a couple of years now and it's been great fun. Connexions helped me get a placement at Juice FM, and it was brilliant. I'm still doing voluntary radio and hoping to do some further studies before I land that first paid job in radio, but having Juice FM on my CV will be a real boost".
