Students Sail on the Tall Ships Ocean Trust Voyage
Seven students from Wirral Metropolitan College took up the opportunity to sail on the Tall Ships Ocean Trust voyage.
They acted as ‘crew’ for a week sailing across the Irish Sea to Wales and the Isle of Man.
All seven young people were very excited about the trip and looked forward to hoisting the mainsail, cooking, cleaning and even taking the wheel and navigating the vessel.
Connexions is supporting Ocean Youth Trust through Community Risk Capital, which focuses on developing innovative and exciting provision for young people who are not engaged in education employment or training.
